The person selected will investigate, evaluate, and settle assigned claims promptly and according to policy provisions in an equitable and fair manner while promoting a high level of customer service.
Fundamental Auto Insurance Claims Adjuster Job Duties
The person selected for the job will conduct thorough investigations of claims by:
- Contacting insureds, claimants, witnesses, and other involved parties
- Securing loss information, including police reports, to determine liability, coverage, damages, and subrogation or salvage recoveries.
- Auto Insurance Claims Adjuster Adjusting claims within delegated authority in compliance with Fair Claims Act
- Document all claim activities
- Report suspicious claims activities to Special Investigation Unit
Auto Insurance Claims Adjuster Requirements

- Aptitude to learn and utilize a variety of software and systems applications
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Well-organized with strong time management skills
- Auto Insurance Claims Adjuster High level of customer focus and commitment to meeting or exceeding customer expectations
- Willingness to pursue development of insurance knowledge and professional insurance education
- Auto Insurance Claims Adjuster Sound knowledge of personal lines property & casualty insurance principles
- Preferred candidate will have at least 2 years experience adjusting bodily injury claims

Base Auto Insurance Claims Adjuster Pay: $30,000 – $50,000 /Year
Other Pay: up to 15% bonus
