Claims Trainee Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for recent college graduates to begin a career in Commercial Insurance! You will learn all aspects of handling claims by following Zurich’s best practices. Zurich’s Claims Trainee Program is for highly talented college graduates with the drive to become successful members of our claims team. This Claims Trainee position will be closely supervised and work within narrowly defined limits of authority. After an initial period of training, this position will handle low complexity claims. Claims Trainee program candidate must be willing to relocate within their first 5 years of employment to one of Zurich’s metro office locations.
Claims Trainee Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 scale
- Leadership experience
- Involvement in extracurricular activities and on campus organizations
- Willing to relocate in the first 5 years of employment.
- Able to travel for training as needed
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Corporate Internship experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical aptitude
