Health Insurance Underwriter Job Description: Immediate opening for a Health Insurance Underwriter at Management Research Services, Inc. MRS is a provider of life and health insurance underwriting support services.
The Health Insurance Underwriter will perform standard financial risk analysis using skills and techniques in conformance with established underwriting policies, procedures and methodologies. Health Insurance Underwriter using health status and/or claims information, the incumbent assesses risk within client company guidelines to assure equitable treatment for our client companies and their applicants for insurance in order to meet revenue and profitability goals.
Health Insurance Underwriter Requirements
- This is a full-time position.
- Health Insurance Underwriter have Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years related experience as an Underwriter or equivalent.
- Medical terminology experience is very helpful.
Base Health Insurance Underwriter salary: $45,000 – $52,000 /Year
Other salary: Health, 401k plan, paid holidays and vacation, health club dues
