Insurance Verific Specialist Job Description

Responsible for contacting third-party payors to verify patient benefits and billing requirements and obtain pre-certifications and authorizations.

The following Insurance Verific Specialist qualification are the minimum necessary to adequately perform the job or any equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the necessary knowledge, skills an abilities would be acceptable, subject to any legal and/or regulatory requirements.

Insurance Verific Specialist Education: Associates Degree in Business or equivalent work experience as defined is required:

  • Insurance Verific Specialist Work experience: Minimum 3 years experience in patient access, registration, billing, insurance and/or pre-certification. Experience with insurance carriers or a third party administrator is preferred

Location LOCATION WILL BE IN WINSTON SALEM NC
Full time; 8A – 5P M-F
