Details Senior Medical Insurance Trainer job:
Reporting to the Director of Patient Access Business Operations, the Senior Medical Insurance Trainer will provide end-user medical insurance training. This position supports the needs of the JHM Access Services Financial Clearance Unit. Other support relative to insurance training may be required. Training is continuous and repetitive as needed to adapt to changing insurance requirements.
Duties include providing interactive, hands-on training to new and experienced staff. Responsibilities include providing training support to the Financial Clearance Supervisor positions for on-going insurance education. Training involves detailed teaching on the multiple insurance payers including benefits, referral and authorization requirements. In addition the person holding this position is responsible for training on insurance websites and other electronic and internet resources. The Trainer is responsible for development and revision of all Financial Clearance training materials. The Trainer will meet regularly with the Manager and Supervisor’s to review progress of staff training, staff work quality and address any concerns regarding such.
